Instructions for Use:
To create an appropriate temperature gradient for your reptile, install the bulb in a dome lamp featuring a ceramic socket and reflective interior. Place the lamp on the far right or left of the enclosure to ensure optimal effectiveness.
Ectothermic reptiles rely on external sources such as the sun for warmth, as they are unable to produce their own body heat. They utilize this heat energy to maintain their bodily functions, digest food and stay healthy. Therefore, heat lamps are necessary to provide the heat required by reptiles.
This bulb does not produce UVB.
To ensure that your pet is receiving the correct temperatures, measure the temperature using the Zoo Med ReptiTemp Digital Infrared Thermometer at their basking area.
