Mealworms represent the juvenile form of Tenebrio molitor, a species of darkling beetle. These diminutive "worms" have maintained their popularity as feeders for numerous decades. They can serve as a delightful addition to the diverse diets of bearded dragons, leopard geckos, skinks, frogs, tarantulas, scorpions, birds, and various other exotic pets!
To preserve mealworms at their best, store them in a wine cooler or the top shelf of a refrigerator door, maintaining a temperature range between 42 and 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Under these conditions, they will enter a dormant state and remain in excellent condition for a duration of up to 30 days.
They arrived while I was out of town and after 2 days all were still alive
I bought medium meal worms and large black soldier fly larvae. I wasn't sure what size dubias to get so I got 3 free samples of different sizes.. Bugs all arrived alive and healthy and they really don't skimp on quantity. SUPER HAPPY!! Thanks dubia deli
Ordered Mealworms and the first order came dead. I emailed and had a fresh order sent the next cool day. Arrived in pristine condition. Wonderful customer service and so far my gecko is a satisfied customer!
I was happy with the timeline receiving them. From order to delivery was 5 days. I was surprised how small they are. I will need to research more about mealworms before I order again.
