During the winter months, ensuring the safe arrival of live insects requires additional precautions due to the cold temperatures. We include heat packs and may also add insulated liners (choosen depending on your selection) to maintain the appropriate environment for live insect shipments. This specialized winter protection is essential to qualify for our Live Arrival Guarantee. However, if a customer chooses not to select this winter protection, we cannot be held responsible for any Dead on Arrival (DOA) cases. Additionally, we strongly recommend checking your weather forecast by searching "weather [zip code]" and using the lowest temperature from the 10-day forecast, as we cannot guarantee the exact day your delivery will arrive. Please note that while we charge an additional fee for this service, it does not fully cover the extra costs we incur to provide the necessary materials and preparation to safeguard your shipment during transit.
