Fluker's Sun Dome Clamp Lamp is ideal for accommodating larger or longer bulbs, such as Fluker's Sun-Glow and Sun Spot bulbs. With a design that extends beyond the face of the lamp, longer bulbs are contained within the fixture for a secure fit. Moreover, the polished aluminum surface inside the dome enhances UVB and UVA output, providing superior performance compared to domes with interior white surfaces.
Ectothermic reptiles rely on external sources such as the sun for warmth, as they are unable to produce their own body heat. They utilize this heat energy to maintain their bodily functions, digest food and stay healthy. Therefore, heat lamps are necessary to provide the heat required by reptiles.
Instructions for Use:
Fluker's Mini Sun Dome Lamp is intended to be used above screen top reptile enclosures to ensure the safety of your animals and prevent the risk of fire. Please note that this lamp is not suitable for use inside any animal cage or enclosure. To ensure that the lamp is securely placed, it should be either placed on the screen top or suspended over the enclosure using appropriate hanging items or fasteners.
The use of ceramic heat emitters and mercury vapor bulbs is not recommended with this lamp.
For safety reasons, this appliance is equipped with a polarized plug where one blade is wider than the other. It is designed to fit into a polarized outlet in only one way to reduce the risk of electric shock. If the plug does not fit properly into the outlet, simply reverse it. However, if it still does not fit, please consult a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
